Most of our canvases are offered with a DIY frame kit. It is a simple self-assembly inner frame option. This is known as "canvas stretching" and is the same technique used in art galleries around the world.
It's extremely easy to put together. Please see the video below and every frame comes with instructions – just fit the frame, pull the canvas over, and glue down with the adhesive provided as per the video below:

By ordering our famous custom DIY frame kits instead of having it shipped already framed, you save hundreds of dollars in shipping costs.
The custom-built inner frames add depth and dimension to your canvas.
Each canvas ordered with a frame gets a 1.2”/3cm “mirror edge” border (a copy of the inner 1.2”/3cm) so that the sides still look amazing when viewed from side-on.
The wood we use hails from renewable, FSC certified sustainable forests, and all frames are kiln-dried to ensure longevity.
